Thank you for your responses PW. Kids in the Brazilian rainforest that die before knowing the lord and savior Jesus Christ...red hot pokers in their asses for all of eternity or they get a mulligan? Dinosaur bones...put there by satan or buried below igneous and metamorphic rock by Noah's flood?

Romans 2:11-16 is talking about those who have never heard the Gospel.  It is saying that they will be judged by the law written in their hearts, which is the knowledge of right and wrong.

I know that God is just, and that He will do what is right.  But as for most people on goEMAW, they have heard the Gospel.  And they will be judged according to how they respond to that Gospel.

My hope for all here on goEMAW is that everyone will turn from worshiping creation, and trust in Jesus.

You cannot be a good enough person to get into heaven.  All people have sinned in some way.  And all it takes to separate you from God is 1 sin.  That is why Christians celebrate the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.  For he lived a perfect, sinless life.  Thus satisfying the wrath of God.  The only thing people have to do to get into heaven is turn from living how they want to live and trust in Jesus.

you cant be serious.  contemporary and biblical were committed.  the gospels, which were written by the people that were there 'apparently' were not even written until hundreds of years later, at best.  my comment above that got PW all flustered has serious implications.  this isn't the religious destruction thread so i will stop and let this conversation continue without me.

What about the T-shirt Christians who make up the vast majority? Those who have heard the gospel and wholeheartedly believe in Jesus, but it no way let Jesus's teachings inform their daily actions or thoughts?

so you can't name any of jesus's sins?

"On reaching Jerusalem, Jesus entered the temple courts and began driving out those who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves..."

Seems this could have been handled more respectfully?

jesus died around 37 a.d. the gospels were written starting in the 60's a.d. and john was most likely finished before 100 a.d., 120 a.d. at the latest.
"I started calling him John during the game, cause he was rocking it like No. 7 -- like Elway," Harper said."

Also, imo Jesus' zero-sin achievement should get marked with an *, since it was done in the days before internet porn.
