Split the corral with a hedge post and panel fence.  The cousin decides to stress test by separating bulls with it.  Bent a gate already

Meanwhile the girls are hanging in the pasture.

Tuesday's weather forecast for the cat ranch.....

High 43 - Low 29 - 60% chance of rain with possibly 1-3 inches of snow tuesday evening  :horrorsurprise:

Luckily my parents just left on a 3 week road trip and my dad blew out the lawn sprinkler lines before he left.

Randomly came across this youtube video from a flood aggie where they break down income/costs for their 1700 acre farm in IA for 2018. The guy is pretty annoying but I learned a lot about how much all the random inputs/expenses cost. Who knew your corn had to be at a certain moisture percentage and if it wasn't you would have to pay to dry it? (I'm sure farmers knew but I'm not a farmer)

Skip ahead to 4 minutes to get through the intro/filler

I also noticed a bunch of Windmills in the background but they didn't include that in their income for the year (its possible the windmills are not on their land)

Sometimes our katz suck and you get angry but then you head up to hay bale hill and watch the sun set while you crush brews and blare tunes with your mutts.

@steve dave get in here and tell me about Meade Manufacturing.

They built this back of the pickup camper shell that has been collecting dust in a barn for the last 30 years.

It's still in excellent shape so make sure to tell the guys at Meade MFG they did a great job.

Did some digging this morning and old Meade MFG made everything from riding lawn mowers to campers to cabs for tractors.

The business continued into the early 1980's. In those days tractors started coming out with cabs already on them.... camper manufacturers abounded and the economy started to tank. It was a sad day for the town of Meade when Meade Mfg. closed... those 100 jobs were sorely missed.

Here are some more random pictures from a weekend on the farm

I've seen a couple of solo Antelope before and ended up seeing a group of around 10 when I was driving around.
