Ya, it's his. I vote we rename the basketball conference season the "Bill Self Family Big 12 Conference Season." Lord knows his family has earned it just as much as him.

I still think he does too. I just meant to make that point during a KU win (I think they were up 12 at the time I made it) and not when they lose.

Bob Davis at the end of the game was amazing. About 3 minutes after it was over (he was super cranky about the court storming) he said "You know, it really was a great Big XII Basketball game, one that is what makes the conference great. Too bad they couldn't sell out the arena."

Earlier in the year people mocked the idea that one would predict that KU would win the conference again in the basis of "they always do."

I stand by my prediction, and I will predict that KU will win this conference forever, in the current configuration.

also on the basis that the rest of the league was wildly overrated by the end of the non-con season.

As long as the Big 12 is falsely portrayed as some type of basketball powerhouse that he wins with ease each year it would be pretty silly to leave

OSU under Sutton, OU under Sampson and early Barnes UT squads were at least on a level with KU. UT held out for a bit, but Self has KU on a level other conference schools can't even compete with right now. It's been that way for awhile.

KSU 09-10 and MU that one year were good teams, and Drew has had some talented squads, but even they were clearly below Kansas. I just don't see this run ending unless someone drastically improves or Self moves on.

It really is a little nine.

Someone is going to have to get lucky and have a couple good PROs that stay healthy to have a chance. His talent is 2nd to none.
