The admittedly subpar officiating is only part of what we are seeing here. Stepping back from this a bit, I think that for a number of years we have been seeing the "streetification" of the game. The demographics of basketball have evolved tremendously during the last two or three generations and so have the unspoken "rules". The referees are caught up in this too. I am from an older generation and I do not think the change that I see is good for the game, but that doesn't change the fact that the culture of basketball and its rules are evolving. It's a long and bitter discussion, but I'll stop now. It is what it is.

Ppl on twitter and 810 have been really freaking out about Huggins 25K bonus that he gets after every win vs KU. I think it's pretty awesome and KU fans should feel great about it.

I like it. Bump it up to $50K/per and slip a clause like that into Weber's contract. For that matter, throw in an incentive for a few road wins.

Would be great to see a large part of coaches contract be win bonuses. Even against shitty teams.
