Making it at home means you can make it exactly how you want it. I mean, you can take the little things you like about three or four different restaurants' breakfast and merge them into one super breakfast perfectly for yourself. When it's dishes time, you can tell someone else to do them since you made breakfast. You don't have to wait in a crowded waiting room with a bunch of ppl that haven't showered and think it's fine to wear rough ridin' pajamas in public, and you pay like 1/3rd of the cost of the restaurant.
It is about as win/win as it gets.
Even time wise, you spend a lot less time just making it than you would to get to the restaurant, wait to be seated, ordering, and waiting on food.
