I would hate to play with Isaiah Taylor. Does that rough rider ever pass the ball?
Luke's stock is rising as Winters continues to validate his greatness. Add Luke and Winters to my list! Also, EMAWBLAST! and Tobias!

Fair question. . .which loss is the worst?

2015: #3 Iowa State loses to #14 UAB
2015: #3 Baylor loses to #14 Georgia State
2013: #4 Kansas State loses to #13 LaSalle
oscar's loss because it was in the Sprint Center

They're all bad, but Baylor was up 12 with less than 3 minutes left. That is inexcusable. Their win probability had to be about 99% when it was 56-44.

Sure they do, every year.

Every year, good conferences get swept in the first day of play?  I get upsets.  But, the performance thus far indicates to me that BigXII is not strong.

Yeah, today was rare (I mean, it's rare that two 3's lose in the same tournament period), but it's definitely random. Baylor and ISU are both good teams despite today's results.

Good grief.  :Yuck:
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

I'm sure from his perspective it didn't look dumb at all.

Ya. If he doesn't touch it, it bounces to the guy behind him and he lays it in to tie it.

Or you block the guy out instead and make your FTs and move on. It's all hindsight now.

Fans may not agree with the call, but by what is written in the rules it was correct. The ball was on the rim and he touched it. The rule doesn't state "Only call goaltending if you think the ball is definitely going in..."

ISU kind of played to form, tho. They had a chance to claim the conference crown and promptly lost to OU at home and us. Kind of weak at the core.
Baylor? Never surprised to see them lose or win. And I never understood the love media-types have been giving Texas the last couple of days.

Do you guys remember espn's top 100 players before the season started? Where like Foster was listed in the 20's or something? Anyways, they had 2 Georgia St. players listed in that list as well. They have talent. I'm not totally shocked by their performance today.

I dont see WVU making it past UK (sorry Coal Man), I don't see Oklahoma State making it past Wisconsin let alone Oregon. So that leaves us with OU and KU to route for. . .and I just can't see a deep run by Lon's crew. . .and this is KU's weakest year in awhile. Bye-bye positive league perception.

At this rate I'll just be glad if WVU makes it TO the UK game.

Yep. The ball had no shot, but you simply can't touch a ball that close to the rim on a jump shot. The official who made the call had no angle to see that the ball didn't really have a chance. The defender put the game into his hands by making contact with the ball instead of blocking out.

Kevin Harlan and Reggie Miller are great together.
