I was home for lunch and when they went to halftime they inverviewed Haas, and I thought "holy crap, that is the dude that used to play for KU". My son did not know who he was (he's only 14).

Anyways, the wife was in the kitchen and I said, "hey mom, you remember who Jerod Haas was?" She was like "oh, ya, that hot guy that played at KU?" My son and I started laughing and I said "ya, he aint hot anymore!!!!!!"

You're right. K-State aka GPC aka Scout has it toward KU. But the phog especially, the constant need of reassurance that the Jayhawks are better, more prestigious or whatever than the next team or school is overwhelming. Not just with the Kentuckys or Dukes of the world, but with teams like ISU.

It's like "Tell me I'm pretty. Tell me I'm prettier than her!" The Dax validation and affirmation complex.
