Guys, Yardhouse puts mint leaves in their D&S.  I thought this was normal until just now googling the recipe.  I have nothing to compare it to, but their D&S is delish.

OK so I picked up a single bottle of maine root and single bottle of ginger people to compare. I like the spice of maine root but it's almost equally sweet and spicy to me. like almost too sweet...but I'm pretty sensitive to sweet drinks. I like the flavor of ginger people but wish it were spicier. I may just combine them. :dunno:

Making ginger beer might be the perfect application for my The Beer MachineTM, which isn't that great at making beer beer.

No, is that the best? I can only compare it to cocknbull and some weird stuff from the natural food store.

it's pretty good, i think.  people like different ones.  fentimen's was my favorite, iirc, from when i tasted several before settling in on bundaberg.  but i don't buy it because it's stupid expensive.

goslings is pretty good, i'd put it at 80% on a 100% scale.

obvi maine root is the best but in a pinch, goslings is acceptable

i received two brand spanking new copper mugs for easter.  i refuse to retire my D&S chalice but will use the mugs from time to time

Drinking a black seal stormy with Stoli ginger beer.  The stoli is pretty spicy compared to the others I have had.  It's really good.
