time to move on, wacky. you cant make a life decision based on a bunch of stuff in a storage unit. you cant change what she expects out of a husband and that you arent that. find someone who accepts you for who you are and doesnt expect you to change. there are people out there, but the pond isnt getting any bigger as you get older. no time to waste in a relationship that wont work.

It sucks when you are a saver and the other person is a spender.
Sounds like she has put her expectations out there and they do not sync with Wacky's. It seems like Wacky needs to do the same - tell her his expectations for the future (like maybe he wants to have a job that he likes but doesn't necessarily pay a lot, or maybe he expects her to pump out 5 kids and then go back to work immediately, or whatever it is he envisions for their future together) and then have a talk (in person) to see if their two sides can meet in the middle and if not then maybe it is time to go separate ways.

I took out some of my savings for the ring to pay off my credit card today. It wasn't a lot of it, but it was still the principle of it. Like, "yeah, I'm gonna hold off on that guy for awhile".

Lol. Now I just got a call. Her friend Andy left a handle of Titos at our place over the weekend for the games and he lives in Denver. Cool guy. She said: "I know you're watching the games tonight. You're not making a drink with the Titos are you? I'd like to keep around the good stuff before you guzzle it down". Me: "Sure thing, babe!" Her: "ARE YOU TRYING TO START A FIGHT OVER THIS?!" Me: "No. I was just agreeing with you". Good god!

It's gotten worse over the last month. Man looses job, mans car goes down ($1000 car repairments), man takes a job within a week with similar pay and field so he doesn't miss a pay check, man losses glasses and then finds them and all of a sudden we have a monster straight out of a Stephen King movie.
