Yeah, they're talking about the pain meds he was most likely prescribed!

Yep, and still not legal to drive on prescribed meds of that sort.

Yeah, and the facts are it was a little after 7am, he was running late to a golf outing, and there were no signs of impairment.

I think his legs would disagree

I think it's the ones that are uninjured that are typically impaired?

Look at the numbers that tweet is doing. The man is much bigger than the entire rest of the game of golf.

easy bet
He doesn't even rank in the top 100 golfers in the state of Florida for his age group. I think it's adorable when he plays with his dad, but people are putting way too much stock into the kid and I feel bad for him already.

How many of those other kids ahead of them have the GOAT golfer as their dad?  All Charlie has to do is say "Dad, I want to play golf for a living." and he will be very rough ridin' good at it for a very long time.  I don't think people are putting WAY too much stock in him.  He literally kicked ass on national TV, knowing millions were watching.  It's a just for fun bet, who cares.  Don't feel bad.  He is better at a game at 12 than any of us are right now and would kill to be great at.

Gary Nicklaus would like to have a word, sir! I wasn't trying to shame him, I just don't want it effecting his life in anyway, unless it's for the better. That's a lot of pressure.

I think Charlie has probably had enough crap happen in his life (non golf related) to effect him negatively, unfortunately.  And much like his father, golf might be his way to deal with it.  But as long as he gets the choice to play or not, if he does, I would bet on him.

i remember tw saying he wasn't going to force his kids into golf, so i think charlie taking it seriously is recent. his swing is incredible and doesn't match his scores.

I saw a bunch of people making this point on Twitter and it cracked me TF up. Not sure if was because that was their "proof" he isn't that good, or just that this crap is tracked for 9-12 year old kids.

It does appear he has won 1 of the 9 or so "tournaments" he's played in the last few years, which falls way short of the 22% winning percentage his dad has.

For me, it was all of the above. Like, relax on the fun thing that’s happening with father and son on the golf course right now. A lot changes in the game, especially with his age, tee box adjustments, mental game of the sport, etc. I would guess naming the next PGA player this early on would be hard to compare to other sports. So much growth and mental games go on from the age of 12-21. If he wants it, I’ll be his #1 fan. That’s all I’m selling here.
