Guys I'm scared to challenge them. The letter cited several cases for precedent and used tons of official language and was generally pretty intimidating. Said I have until the 15th to close down shop.

Tell them you would like a handwritten letter that has the terms scrawled diagonally across it and then you'll consider it.
