Penalty kicks are such crap. No way you should be able to basically have a free goal (like 90% of the time, probs) because you flopped in the goalie box.

yeah if there's one problem with soccer, it's that goals are just handed out right and left. too much scoring imo.

That's my point. It's nearly impossible to score, but if you get fouled or you pretend to be fouled in the box you are basically handed a goal.

Well, if you get called for "diving" you will get handed a yellow card instead of a goal.

fouls in the box don't get called nearly enough.  it's similar to last-second shots in the paint in basketball, defenders just know they can game the refs and get away with crap

and people are outraged everywhere. those were bad calls that ruin the game. it's the ref's call that was the problem, not the penalty kick
