Do you do tons of stupid crap or are you a fun drunk?

Pretty fun till I black out, and then I'm not functioning on a high enough level to do anything incredibly stupid, just kind of an annoying idiot at that point.

Are your friends blacking out with you or are you usually way drunker than everyone else?
I don't drink very often, probably once every two weeks. But recently (past couple years) I don't seem to have the ability to stop drinking once I start. I pretty much drink till I black out if there's not someone else trying to actively curb my intake. So, alcoholic or problem drinker?

Just a guess here, but do you drink really fast? I often find that I finish my drinks quicker than friends, and so I have to space them out differently.  I've recently started chewing a piece of gum between each drink, and I've found that it helps me keep a more reasonable pace.

Pretty much everything I do, I tend to do compulsively. So, yes, I tend to drink quickly. Most of my friends end up getting blackout at some point, but I usually reach that point before the rest of them.

An even better question... at one point is the line crossed between professional drinker and alcoholic?

Pfft. You are neither. The only dumb thing I remember you doing as a result was arguing that some terrible 80's song as the best pop song of all time.

I drink super fast.  It doesn't matter if its coffee, water, or booze.  If I am holding it, I am drinking quickly.  Its not a mindful thing.  Just happens. Put a water in btwn each booze.  Helps me out.  That said,  I have passed out a couple times but never blacked out.  #TeamRememberEverything

I used to pretend I didn't remember things. It was easier that way.

You should probably take a couple months off of drinking.  Where you are headed isn't a good place.  Been there...

the most pathetic stretch of my life came in college when i discovered pre-chasing (i hated liquor and still do to some extent) and woke up on my bedroom floor, the bathroom floor and in the backyard - all in the span of two summer weeks - because of how quickly i was able to drink the booze that i otherwise wanted no part of.

Yeah. Just buy a 6 pack of good beer. Drink it all and you will reach an ideal level without blacking out and making an ass out of yourself. Just have fun until the fridge is done.

This sounds completely normal deuce. I also am #teamdrinkfast and always have been, probably because I have to drink twice as much to reach the same level as everyone else.

Here is a quick check, do you feel like you want a drink, or need a drink. I come from a family full of alcoholism so it's something I am constantly aware of about myself. If I feel I'm in the "need" category, then I will resist (which luckily isn't difficult for me)
