how do you handle snorers? the guy in the seat directly behind mine was snoring pretty loud, but it wasn't distracting to me at all. but the aforementioned couple seated next to me hated it, and were clearly annoyed.

alas, they did not say anything, and the snoring continued.

I'm flying Thurs. Evening and I haven't flown in 5 years any new rules I should be aware of?

I feel like such a hayseed when I fly because I'm all midwesterly and like to say hi to my neighbs and all.

Just STFU right?

theres a new rule that has a 6 drink minimum. like before you take off ask for 2 shooters if its gonna be a short flight. you don't wanna get in trouble for not hitting the min.

i feel like if i snored, and knew i snored, i would not let myself fall asleep on a plane. i would think it is more than appropriate to alert someone that they are being disruptive.

Isn't snoring like forgivable?

I mean its something you can't really control like a funny face or a hairy birthmark. Am I wrong?

Yea, let them sleep for like 30 minutes and then wake them up. They got some sleep in and now it's time to let other people not be completely disrupted.

i don't feel like 30 minutes is a viable option. if you don't cut them off immediately, i think you at least have to give them a full REM cycle.

I've never heard anyone snore on a plane because I wear headphones like a normal person.

Love the window seat, but I always share it with 176 if we travel together.  Shade up, I like to try to figure out where we are exactly based on the geography using the flight path.  Like oh, we must be over Indianapolis; look there is I-70 north of Arches National Park...

176 and I met on the flight back from LA after the 2001 USC football game.  Been together ever since.

I prefer the window seat on long flights where I intend to sleep. Easier for me to sleep if I can lean my head against the side of the plane.  On shorter flights the aisle is the best seat.

They prefer if you congregate by the cockpit door so wait until someone heads up to use that bathroom before you go.  Also, feel free to run

I read somewhere that your nap should be less than 45 minutes or more than 2 hours. If it is between that then you wake up more groggy than you started.

I prefer my method of falling asleep, my head falling forward abruptly waking me up, falling back asleep, and repeating that process every ten minutes for 3 hours until I'm an insane person.
