fwiw, i'm fairly confident OU wins the big XII with no more than 1 loss. their schedule sets up pretty nicely.

FWIW, OU doesn't scare me this year.   Maybe UT or OSU can hand them a second loss?   (Cause the Cats are going to give them one.)

did they lose a lot? they looked pretty good vs. bama, man.

yeah, but they looked plenty beatable the entire b12 season (though good). everyone has bama as some NFL team in their minds.

Dude, OUs defense curb stomped Bama.   But it's cute that you think one guy did it and Bama even gave a eff about that game.

Yeah the QB who curb stomped Alabama isn't that scary

Half the Big12 could've "curb stomped" Alabama that night... The Tide had no desire or motivation to play that game whatsoever.

I wonder if they have a history of getting "curb stomped" by an inferior opponent when relegated to the Sugar Bowl: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2009_Sugar_Bowl

 :dubious:

If Knight was that good he wouldn't have been beaten out by Blake Bell earlier in the season.  He is certainly capable, but very inconsistent.  If he has a good day, they will win against any big 12 team.  I am not convinced he can string together 9 straight good days though.

you mean the Utah team that went 10-3 the next year and only lost to (edit) TCU, Notre Dame, and Boise State? they were pretty good.

Even though I am very optimistic, I am a bit concerned that "hips" have not been mentioned once in this thread.

I wonder who could rectify this omission?
