Did the Night King know about the dragons before they got there? If so, how?

He was able to see Bran doing his time traveling thing. Maybe he has a similar ability?

This is my theory, that he has some ability to see the world as it is. But like Bran, cannot effect it directly. It is also possible he only gained that ability once he touched Bran. With this way of thinking, the Night King was simply laying a trap with the hopes of capturing a dragon.

On the Arya / Sansa front I think it is all a ploy to convince Littlefinger that he is in control, than *BAM* double cross and Sansa and Arya kill LF and take his face. This will allow Arya to get close to people she needs to kill next season. I can't help but be extremely annoyed by their back and forth if this isn't all them outwitting LF.

I was also incredulous initially at her "he is too small" comment. Then I looked up their heights:

I'll be honest.  I am kind of rooting for the white walkers.  I mean, none of the characters on the show are perfect, and when you get down to it they all just want to reign over Westeros, so what makes the night king any worse than the rest of them?  Plus he is always so calm and collected instead of whining like the other ones.  I cannot think of a great reason to dislike him.

I wish they explained that a little better.  It is kinda weird when you got everyone freezing right there.  It's like, "boy, now would be a great time for a fire."  It sure seems like he can turn it on and off at will.

If these little spats between Sansa and Arya were all in public, I could buy that it's a ploy. But not in a private bedroom where nobody else would witness. They really don't trust each other. But it'll probably be worked by next episode, hopefully with LF dead, so don't really care too much.

So the new theory for why the Night King has been hanging north of the Wall all this time is that he was setting a trap... for dragons he somehow knew about, based on a dumbass quest to catch a wight he somehow knew would happen. Mmmkay. If the Night King is really clairvoyant that's gonna pose some obvious plot problems....

Oh and Tyrian is advising Dany to walk into King's Landing instead of finding neutral ground?! That's very stupid. I'm wondering if maybe he really does intend to betray her. But I don't see how he would do that if it would help Cersei.
