The bridge into the hook might as well have been made for that scene. But the song isn't really new.

Still gives me chills watching that scene.

The office really went to crap after the first 4 or 5 seasons, then when Michael left it jumped of the deep end, but I've been watching since the first season and I can't stop. I stupidly feel obligated plus there are still a couple lol moments every episode. This series finale will probably make me tear up, can't believe I'll be saying bye to Jim, Pam, and Dwight for the last time :(

Yeah, I stopped watching the show a few years ago for similar reasons, only it was before Michael Scott had left. I watched one episode this season (or maybe it was last season? Who knows?LOL) and about halfway through I pinpointed that the reason I hadn't laughed yet was that Michael Scott was not in the office. I thought maybe he had just called in sick for the episode or something, so I looked it up online, and nope, he quit the show. Why on earth would they even try to continue a show about Michael Scott when he's not on the show anymore? I don't know, and I'm sure that's why NBC is cancelling their asses.

Probably the same reason that CBS kept a show about Charlie Harper after Charlie was no longer on the show.

there were too many "stars" and they weren't really stars.

Yeah it probably stopped being good sometime before then and I didn't want to admit it but that episode was the undeniable proof.

This week's HIMYM and the one where Barney proposed are probably two of the best episodes ever. But not the first half of that episode. That part sucked. Thank god the 2nd part was it's own episode.
