I really don't care for the Mad Men theme song. The drums sound so stupid.

The third to last episode of season three (also known as season 3 episode 11 for those of you keeping track at home) was the first episode that I thought was great. Granted it keeps getting better so there will probably be more great ones to come.

I just tore up season 5 on netflix. It certainly has lulls mid way through each season but they have done a great job of book ending with the premier and finale.

Welp, we didn't get much closure with Jimmy. I guess that's why they call them cliffhangers!

With Justified/Walking Dead over, I am at a loss for shows right now. May give New Girl a shot. GF was watching it on demand the other day and the homeless guy singing "Father Figure" convinced me to try it. Not sure for other shows. Why the eff is Breaking Bad taking so long? 2 halves of Walking Dead were in between the halves of Breaking Bad. They are basically trying to split the last season into two 8 episode seasons.

I don't like the 2 hour premiers of Mad Men. The show seems more suited to 1 hour episodes, and the premiers always seem kind of slow anyway. I think they are really setting up some big things this season, though. Lots of death and talk of death in the episode, making me think somebody important is going to die.

interesting. i've never watched a show i like and thought "man, i wish this was shorter"
