It was at the dive bar in the dive bar thread. (Thee Parkside)

I had an Italian panini w/ salami and other meats and fresh mozzarella and whole garlic cloves. Wife had a "British Invasion" burger w/ curry aoli. Kids had tater tots topped w/ macaroni and cheese. IT WAS ALL REALLY GOOD.

I don't think she was there, but she is quite a bit, I guess.

Parenthood sucks because the characters are always talking at the same time. It's like shut the eff up and let your mother speak!

Yeah, I gave up on it 5 episodes in. Just didn't have any emotion to anyone. Even if I would have hated everyone I would have been more interested, but I didn't. I just sat there apathetically.

i think maybe i watched the first season, but it was terrible so i kinda spaced out and BBS'd through the 2nd half of it?

can probably double-post in facebook thread, but 90% of what i see posted is far closer to "man, that dumbass really mumped up and i want to murder him now" than "man, that dumbass really mumped up, wow, what a dumbass"

just seemed like he wanted to hear what he wanted to hear, kinda like the lawyer thread

it's only one of the top 5 shows ever made.

Does it get better? I just don't see the appeal. But maybe it's because I'm happily married? Like if I were younger and single it might seem like a better show?

I didn't really like it at first, but it just gets better the more you watch it. That show has some GREAT characters and does a really nice job developing them.

I think that it gets better. I started watching in season 3 as it aired, got hooked and went back to seasons 1 & 2. I liked season 1 quite a bit though. One of my favorite shows of all time.

Well, her husband is not even the same man that she thinks he is and cheats on her every chance he gets and leaves her to do absolutely all of the cooking, cleaning, child raising, etc. That's pretty bad if you ask me, but she's not dead yet (knock on wood) if that's what you are asking.
