i have high hopes for The Following, the pilot was good. kevin bacon is a total stud and the bad guy seems to be played pretty well. i like psychological crime stuff even if it's a little over dramatized for tv.

Following looks to be a pretty sweet one. A little Silence of the Lambs feel with a messed up Bacon that reminds me a tad of Jack in 24 once he's basically washed up (though not badass at all)

it's a great season, pete! even as heavy-handed as they present it sometimes, i love watching downton adapt with the changing times. have you started season three yet?

Tried a couple episodes of Game of Thrones. Can't do it. Bored me to tears. I have a hard time with fantasy. Watching the Wire instead on HBOgo.

The Taste wasn't as good as I'd hoped. Basically the voice but with food. May get better as they get to know the chefs on each persons team. Bourdain talking about how he regretted not picking every chef after the fact was getting old.

American Horror Story was really great. Really original concept, and done well. I've heard most people didn't like 2nd season as well, but my friend who I usually agree with shows on thought the 2nd was way better than the 1st, so I'll report back.

second season was just all over the place, characters/acting wasn't as good.
