Since I'm in the last season of The Wire, I need to know what series I should choose next.

Which should I watch first:  Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Friday Night Lights or fill in another.

Sopranos would take a while and is a pretty big investment of time.  It's worth it though.

Iirc, Sopranos went 5 seasons.  BB is in it's 5th season, so, samesies, right?

yeah, sopranos is next.  then breaking bad and mad men and game of thrones and boardwalk empire.

also sopranos went 6 seasons with like 86 episodes.  breaking bad has 4 seasons with like 41 or something.

Yeah, BB's first season only having 6 episodes really makes going through the entire series a whole lot faster than you would think it would be.

Also, BB episodes are only 40-45 minutes because they're on AMC. Sopranos are all 55-59 minutes. But if you fast forward through the intro it brings it down to about 40-45.

I'm with 8man on this one. I hated it the first time I watched it, but there are a couple very important  character developments in it.

I agree with you both.... on the basis that you both cant sleep at night and that this is your only remedy to go to sleep

If you noticed in the "How many hours of sleep do you need to function?" thread, I don't really need sleep. It helps me be able to rewatch my favorite episodes from my favorite TV shows, such as Fly.

I hate when people read so much into things especially television shows.. Just because it sucked doesn't mean they have to delve deep into it and try to polish a turd. Its a good show but that was a shitty episode

what you don't understand yla is that in the industry they call this episode a "bottle."  In layman's terms they try to save money on it and basically it always turns out to be a piece of crap.

Do you have to switch the input away from the cable box to the TV to use the antenna or how does that work?

Unless he has a way to run the antenna through this cable box, that is how he would have to do it.
