i started watching the killing based on a friend's advice.  i'm only about halfway through season 1.....is season 2 about the same murder, or a different case?

same. And season 1 gets pretty bad. When you start on whatever episode she cant find her son, just skip that one. If you're not that into it, just stop.

that's weird because on the First 48 the entire murder case is solved within 1 hour. sometimes two murder cases are solved within 1 hour.  seems like the AMC show sucks at investigation.

Was about ready to give up on it, but I thought the ones so far this season have been good.  Last night's was very good.
