There are 16 episodes this season, I am slightly angry that the usual "mid season break" is way past mid season. These last 3 better be rough ridin' good. I guess time flew by so fast I didn't realize 13 of them had aired.

I just read it off a list and I was looking at the "total episodes" column which included season 1. So its more like a reading fail.

Whist watching the Hell on Wheels finale last night, I saw the very short preview of the next Walking Dead episode.  They are introducing another group of humans.  I really, really hope this doesn't take away unnecessarily from killing zombies.  I'm concerned this is turing into too much of a "hey we live on this random farm" show and less about cool situations where zombies attack people.

I won't go as far as you, but suffice to say I have some very, very serious concerns about lack of zombie face-time on the program.  However, until another zombie show steps up, this is what we have and we need to try and enjoy it.  Think of it like our basketball team.

I have been DL'ing torrents from thepiratebay. There are 720p HDTV rips available there, plenty of seeders.
