Am I the only one that doesn't watch much TV? I'm not judging or one of those assholes that brags about not having a TV. I have one in every room of my house including the rough ridin' kitchen. I even have one that I sit in the basement and when its nice outside, I take it out to the patio. I often realize though, that I never watch it aside from some sports. I read this thread all the time and think, that looks like a good show, but I never do it. I do go to bed pretty early which is most likely the reason, but I just can't drum up the motivation to start a show. Am I weird?

No, I realize that I haven't really intensely watched a show in a long time. Maybe Succession was the last one? But I cancelled HBO after Season 2 and haven't started back up since.

One that has me firmly by the balls and came highly recommended by steve dave is Squawk on the Street. It is highly informative, gets pretty good and often elite guests, but is also a complete irresponsible shitshow. It is now part of my morning routine when I WFH.

Also season 3 of Joe Pera is of course wonderful but not quite the emotional roller coaster of season 2. which is great, it doesn't need to be!

I’m 3 episodes into Joe Pera. I just watched the fall drive/pumpkin episode. Excited to see why season 2 was so emotional.

BTW Joe Pera has a Tuesday night stand up show he hosts in Brooklyn with Dan Licata, who plays the DJamer in the Baba O'Reilly episode and writes for the show. I've gone like four times and I really like it! One night Chris Gethard closed the night with like a thirty minute set and he was very good.

Old Enough on Netflix is a totally wholesome, sweet show if anybody is looking for that.  It's a Japanese show where they send a 2-4 year old child to run an errand on their own and see if they can do it.  The episodes are only about 10 minutes long so it's not much of a commitment.  If you want a quick mood boost, I totally recommend it.

Also, Outlaws on Amazon is fun.  Stephen Merchant and Chris Walken are an enjoyable combo.

Yes it is. Travis Kalanick is a true piece of crap and some research tells me that a lot of the things on the show are accurate. Although I don't think he did much wrong with the yelling at the driver, the reaction to that was based more on how he treated other people as well.

On a similar note, I thought last night's episode of billions was the best non season finale episode of the entire series.

I watched season one and was 75% sure I liked it.  Haven't started season two yet, and I'm not sure why I don't feel enthusiasm for it either.

75% is about right. I didn't see any of the religious stuff coming but love it all. I hate the child actor for campion. I legitimately don't have any idea where this show is going and that's pretty fun too.
