This is awesome.

I think I grew up with some of the most basic kids. I always thought I was the weird one (which is probably still true), but no one I knew liked/did stuff like this.

I've been in a sci-fi mood so I started watching the Expanse.  It's ok but I think I would like it a lot more if they had a better lead.  I know some people go nuts for battlestar galactica so I might give that a try at some point.  Not really sure where to start on that because I think it's a reboot but also maybe an extension or out of order to something.

Hearing all these good things about the Mandalorian makes me want to watch it.  Will it be enjoyable for someone who thinks Star Wars stuff is just OK and doesn't know much about it outside the main movies?

I'm burning through season one and its a slog for someone that has never seen or has any interest in seeing any of the Star Wars movies. I like it some times. The best part about it is that the episodes are short.

You need to chime in on the finale. I already forgot who didn't like it, chum1? but it was a shocking take. Also I really dislike Hugh Grant as an actor.

I felt like it got super corny at the end, but still enjoyed it. I thought the walk with her friend pretty much gave it away. I also dislike Hugh Grant as well. He's a very unlikable actor. Overall though, I'd give it a solid B+. I couldn't stop watching.

Starting boardwalk empire, I started watching it years ago and did not get very far.

Watched the series a few years ago and thought Buscemi, Williams, Shannon and Coleman were worth the watch.  Other historical figures were meh.  Maybe the most booze consumed in any one show?  One upside is my wife getting me to do her bidding by calling me ‘daddy’ in the same manner as de la Huerta.
