Started watching Joe Pera Talks With you on HBO Max last night.  I find it oddly and satisfyingly entertaining.

s1 is effectively completely divorced from star wars
s2 is a weekly parade of name drops from other star wars things

Yeah, it's definitely written for "family viewing."  The constant faux tough guy dialog is very tiring, but heh, it's star wars so I watch.

Industry was very good. Your Honor on Showtime is also pretty good so far.

Industry was fine, it was definitely over hyped though, and every critic that compared it to Billions should be banned from writing. I definitely will be watching season two of that and season two of I May Destroy You, with subtitles. I don't know if the audio quality on HBO is different or what it is but We Hunt Together on Showtime had an all British cast and I understood every word.

I agree with you on Your Honor, all the Showtime dramas are so good. I have been watching these episodes thinking that it will come to an end soon because it's called a limited series or mini-series, but it's 10 damn episodes. This is going to send us though the ringer.

This is where I am at, industry was acceptable, had good moments and was very watchable, but was not earth shattering.

Finally finished Kingdom. It was really really good.  It’s only 3 seasons but season 2 is 20 episodes.  Nick Jonas is adorable in it.

I binged S1 last night. Fiance didn't like episode 1 a few nights ago. So I plowed through it on my own.

I love streaming services especially for tv shows that carry the plot show to show. It's like a multi hour movie. I could get down with some longer movies.

It has funny moments but I'm stuck in S2. Just kind of drags along for me.

Mrs Hamburg hates to be touched. I play the Brak Don’t Touch Me song for her multiple times per year.  If someone asks me what I was doing, my first instinct is to respond “Kickin it”.

I want to go back & watch C2C, but I’m afraid it won’t hold up to the high level that I remember it as a 13 year old.
