SAME! I tried the dub on the first episode for like 2 minutes and switched to subtitles. Only one episode in, so nothing good has happened yet. This gets much better, correct?

watched the first episode of shooter last night (based on mark wahlberg movie) balls are had.. took all of my will power to not watch the second episode

i finished s4 of Better Call Saul and i guess i have to wait until they put s5 on netflix. great show, has balls, starting to wonder if James/Saul is a character we should really be rooting for, but that's exactly what the show is trying to do with the ending of s4.

I finished Succession.

SPOILERS: The season 2 finale when they're going around the table on the boat and telling everyone why they could be the scapegoat is about the most I've been entertained by a TV scene. And the tension they build while Kendall goes up to talk to his dad was about as perfect as it could get.

I watched it. Not as good as season 1 but still better than most super hero shows.

The John Brown show on Showtime The Good Lord Bird is not great and it's surprisingly not Ethan Hawkes fault. I'm going to give it one more episode.

I went ahead and bought S5 on Prime. It was worth it. Best season yet, IMO.

Started "Dark" tonight. I am so bad with faces and it seems like there's a lot of characters for me to attempt to keep straight. Any chance the important characters get more obvious at some point?

Definitely hard to keep the blue eyed blonde Germans straight. But you can pick up on it pretty quickly TBH

Mostly historic with obvious embellishments for TV. The first three episodes were just super slow. Episode 4 is the start of the Harpers Ferry attack talk.
