Also enjoying the McDonalds docuseries and i am intentionally not reading up about it b/c i don't know the story and I'd rather be surprised.
6 episodes? Seems like way too many.
im sure they could have wrapped it up in 3 epis if it would have been your garden variety field agent working the case but that goofball agent and all his wacky shenanigans of course they're going to need 6 to unpack all of that.
Finished McMillion$ last night. Enjoyable. Agree that it did not need to be 6 episodes and probably could have told the story in 3 or 4 episodes. Could have used a little more on how the game pieces were stolen but since they couldn't get Uncle Jerry on camera I guess that hindered things a little bit.
what part about how the game pieces were stolen needed more elaboration? I mean i guess a little more explanation as to how he got a package of those envelope seal stickers but he was obviously a resourceful guy so that doesn't really surprise me. Seems like they had a couple of blind spots in their protocols.
I mean, if they are going to go to the trouble and expense of having an accountant escort him and the briefcase they could have fail-safed the process a little more.
Also like, in terms of ensuring the game pieces get from the printer to the machine that will place them on a cup/box/etc...seems like the smart thing to do there is the people in charge of that process can only be in charge of that process if they agree to be held financially responsible for an amount of money greatly exceeding the value of the prizes should it ever be discovered that they had any influence on who received the winning game piece.
