I don't understand how gold earphones would help but I watched about 5 minutes and couldn't get into it because I hardly could tell what they were saying.

subtitles yo.  my mom had the same issue and it kind of put her off, but I told her to watch it with subtitles.  guess what: it helped her.

Yep.  If I don't really like a show I've found that adding reading to the mix really ups the enjoyment for me.

it took a couple eps to get an ear for that but now my brummie is top notch. when they introduce new regions you have to start from scratch.

also the deeper in the series you go, the thicker the accents get.

Well we're 3 episodes behind on Taboo because it was so boring we haven't been motivated to watch; so I guess that means Young Pope is better.

Rivers monsters is one of my favorite shows. Jeremy lives a hell of a life. Traveling, speaking multiple languages, meeting small tribes. I find it interesting that going to a shaman always works for him. I hope it's not editing.

I finished the first season this weekend.  I didn't like it at first but watched it all the way through.  It was unsettling to me as a Catholic, but it got me thinking about a few things. Is there another season coming?

Mrs. SF and I have watched an ep or 2 of Arrow a night  for about 30 nights. This is my first time watching a show this way. We are almost through season 2 and enjoying it. I will prob never watch a normal time network show again.
