So I watched the first 5 episodes of Westworld.

Guys I hated it. No one smiles. There is not a single moment of joy. There is no character I care about. I don't get why people thing it is so great. I need to have a character to root for or against at some point in a show and there is just no one at all I had a feeling about one way or the other.

It is very easy to root against Teddy, IMO.

I watched two or three episodes with a friend when it first came out. I intend to watch the entire thing this winter. It grabbed me, as well. Plans to continue just fell by the wayside with other distractions for me this summer.

I watched the first episode of season one last night. I will watch that entire series now, even though it was not easy to watch.

It is very easy to root against Teddy, IMO.

they are robots. i have no feeling toward them. i don't care for them or against them

also the whole show is so brooding. throw a joke in. i mean, these guys are supposed to be robotics wizards and they work with little to no lighting just so the whole thing will seem brooding. its dumb.

I get what youre saying and kind of agree BUT I still think the show is great BUT I cant explain it BUT this show makes me fall asleep almost every single time.

Cartierfor3 have you watched THE WALL? It's not on HBO so most of the crap heads (no offense) in this thread have never heard of it, but it's uplifting, intense, entertaining and a joy to watch with the whole family.

I'm currently watching ep 7 of 8 of The OA and I dont really like it, but I have to finish. Strange curiosity about how it ends. The show as a whole could probably have been made into a 2 hour movie though.
