I watched all of Longmire. It wasn't awful, but it never delivered like I kept thinking it would. Then you wake up one day and you are 25 episodes into a 40 episode series so what are you gonna do then?

Serious BBS question: when somebody quotes your quote without comment, does that mean that they agree with it? I ask, because sometimes I have thought people did this to point out a stupid post, but in the instance above, I think mocat is agreeing with me.

I love Silicon Valley. As a software sales guy I especially loved this line from the most recent episode.

Have i given my pitch about Silicon Valley having the reverse story structure as Entourage?

So, check out this CollegeHumor video:

Every episode of Entourage starts with everything is great then something bad happens, main guy's career is derailed, they spend the whole episode hustling, at the end of episode everything is back on track and great.

Silicon valley: Every episode starts with the cliffhanger from the previous one, something on the order of "Pied piper is ruined" they hustle around and spend the episode assuaging whatever messed up at the end of the last episode, then, at the end something happens that returns them back to "Pied Piper is ruined"

yeah, it's been ok. when they were making fun of dinesh's gold chain last week was ok.
i've always liked the writing on Veep more than SV. it's one of a few shows that i actually LOL while watching (also Parks & Rec).

Been on a documentary kick lately, watched the ones about Foxcatcher on Netflix. God damn John Du Pont was a rough ridin' weirdo and all those wrestlers were complete dumbheads.

Would watch more.

I saw Foxcatcher the film about a year ago and thought that it was based on a true story, but that there was a lot of stuff made up to make a more interesting movie. Nope. JDP really was bat crap crazy and everyone enabled his insanity.
