I saw her this summer at Starlight, and my brother saw her in Illinois. Both of us were disappointed. Don't get me wrong, she'll have you laughing, but she kind of rehashed a lot of jokes she does on the late night talk show circuit.

This is my fear with all comedy shows. My wife loves them and I'm pretty lukewarm to them even though we've never been to a bad one.

The show was great, best stand up show I've ever seen. It was interesting because she was definitely not polished like you'd see from most comedians including her when she's doing a televised set, this is a good thing though. The first few minutes were filled with ah's and um's, I thought she was too high or drunk to perform and this was going to end up on ET and TMZ. We'll it turned out to be great, her act was a lot of stream of consciousness and she spent roughly a fourth of the hour long set shitting on Iowa.

i wasn't necessarily disappointed by her starlight performance, i definitely laughed, but i thought pretty much everyone else was funnier than her, including her friend bridget everett.
