Can't remember, probably didn't give it much a chance. Maybe I'll give season 2 a try and if I like it I'll go back and rematch.

I've only saw one episode of American Horror Story so I can't speak to that, but in the case of American Crime these are accomplished actors and they like the scripts so they stick around and the show is glad to keep them. It is really no different than any other show, the actors mainly stay the same from season to season unless someone gets killed off, the difference is not carrying over the plotline from season to season. I'd be willing to bet the actors prefer this so they can play different characters. Felicity Huffman, Regina King, and Timothy Hutton play very very different characters than they did season one.

Also André Benjamin aka Andre 3000 was added to this cast, so that's nice. First episode tonight wasn't in anyway suspenseful, it just set up the crime story for the season.

I don't watch AHS either, just know they use the same actors as different characters in each season.

Should've just started with Andre 3000 is in it, now I'll watch. Need something new anyway now that we are 2 epi away from being done with SoA.

Started watching the week before the final season started and ripped through every episode by Episode 6 or 7. Was enjoyable and miserable at the same time.

I've been told this too but I refuse to watch cable crime shows with cheesy one liner ads.

The main female protagonist is kinda annoying, but James Spader is worth the price of admission on that one.

S01 was incredibly depressing.
S02 started okay, reserving judgement. I would have been happy to not see Felicity Huffman again, but at least she mixed up the Lynn Schiavo/tired old mom look.
