I'm on epi 4 of Dexter. I haven't been this disappointed in a series since.. Well, forever. The premise is dumb. The acting is ridiculous and the dialogue atrocious.

Other than that, it's great.

If you don't enjoy s1 dexter, I would advise you to not bother at all with any other season but pls watch the series finale

This makes no sense. Early Dexter is amazing. The end of the series is crap but the ride to the ending is fun. That said, Deb is quite annoying early in season 1.

There is just something off-putting about it. I can't explain it. I'm only 4 episodes in. I'll push through the first season and see if it grows on me. Plus my wife is enjoying it, so...

I liked Dexter early through season 4, which was my favorite. After that I think it kind of dropped off a bit.
