The guy hanging out with the black guy synth? 80% sure human, but there are potential clues he isn't. The clues are all the synth asking him why he is doing human stuff like drinking for the pain. It may just be human stuff.

Holy crap i love twin peaks. Just amazing, bizarre scenes in every episode. The roadhouse fight scene in the pilot was unreal.

Yes - I couldn't believe how long it took me to watch it. I liked a lot of shows that people would compare to Twin Peaks and in hindsight, those shows were crap.

Unrelated note: Mr. Robot on USA is actually pretty good despite the fact that its on USA. If it were on AMC, people would watch it and talk about it.

I caught the pilot as well and although this show doesn't have me by the balls just yet, its hand is clearly lingering on my leg and I hope it moves up.
