i watched the first episode of The Killing and it was terrible and not sure why it is "critically acclaimed"

The killing was great.

Got back on The Wire and am about to finish S1. Obvsly it is fantastic.

I get what they are going for....and I like off beat shows, but they are very dry. Probably doesn't help we're watching them just before bed.

Wasn't sure if I should watch Peaky Blinders until my bro-in-law sent me a clip where the main character has a conversation like this:

Girl: How much was your suit?
Main Character: Oh, my suits are on the house...or else the house burns to the ground.

It reminds me of Snatch, but takes place in the 1910's. I've been hooked on it ever since said bro-in-law sent me that clip. Thank you puniraptor for putting it on my radar.

That storyline lasts two seasons. Three is its own story and four is its own story.

Watched this due to nothing else being on. Haven't watched the apprentice since probably the first season when it wasn't celebrity. I'm on the border on whether to watch again tonight, but Gilbert Gottfried may have tipped the scales towards watching.

I just finished watching the first two seasons of a show called "The Wire". Anyone else seen or heard of it? It's pretty good.
