Good grief, just started watching Episode 5 of The Leftovers. Wasn't sure if I was going to continue, and wham! I'm struck to the face of a woman getting brutally stoned to death. I'm shaken, couldn't even watch the whole scene. Had to look away.

Not sure I want to continue.

I have a love hate relationship with this show. It's beautifully produced and acted but at some point they need to give some story nuggets to the viewers.

finished season 3 of dexter. kind of didn't want to start season 4 because it feels like i can guess exactly what will happen:

dexter's not killing
wants to kill
stressed and distracted at work because of kid and family
is annoyed with baby and family but still loves (fake loves, whatever) them all
deb's upset about something and in love with a guy

started season 4 to be greeted with john lithgow naked and strangling a women in a bathtub

I'm now thru episode 7 of season 4 of The Wire. It's definitely picking up.

Coincidentally (or not!) there have not been any dicks in the past 3 episodes...

I think Season 4 was my favorite BTW

No. Setting aside the language, is it engaging? Does the plot move at an adequate pace? Is it funny at all?

Finished season 4 of The Wire last night... The best part of season 4 was less McNulty. My second favorite part was Randy. My least favorite part was when *SPOILER* Bodie got hit /*SPOILER*

I also find it difficult to watch any scene with Tommy Carcetti and not think about Lord Baelish. Does anybody watch GoT and think the same thing, only vice versa?

i'm guessing by all the buzz that it's generated on the board that everyone here has their b's and v's firmly cupped by bachelor in paradise.

what a great start to the season last week. i know i've said it a million times before but that rose ceremony was the most exciting one yet.
and for those of us who got a sneak peek at this week's epi, how great does that look, huh? the producers are going to score big this season which only cements the fact that we'll be enjoying BP's for many summers to come.

switching gears for a minute. who else has been bit by this season's big brother bug? consider me fully ebola'd. i honestly want frankie gone now. looks like we're going to have to sit through another week of him though- that is unless we have a double elim this thurs again??

i really think derrick wins this season. love zach, my favorite. his concord XI's that he wears, so jealous of them.
