We don't need fairy tales to justify why things happen throughout history. Science has allowed humans to go back in time and be able to understand how and why things happened millions and billions of years ago. Cosmos continues to show how insignificant humans really are in the history of the earth and the universe. A lot of crap happened before we got here. Some people fail to grasp that concept.

We have all evolved from a small shrew like animal that survived the mass extinction that killed off the dinosaurs. That is a fact. You can't argue against it. Parents that teach their kids creationism should be thrown in jail for poisoning the minds of impressionable youth. I don't care if you "believe" the earth is 6,000 years old. You're rough ridin' wrong.

But it's a really good show and everyone should watch it.

For real though! It's one of those shows I could watch all day.  If I could be IRL friends with Jon T I'd love it.  That show always makes me think I could go start a bar with ease. I'm glad my few attempts to look into it were thwarted by bad timing and low money.  He makes it look so much easier than it is.
