I watched to about the sixth episode and now I can't seem to watch anymore. I don't know what went wrong, but I liked the first few.

After the semi-letdown that was Sherlock season 3 (still better than most shows), Shameless is officially my favorite show currently on television. It's not for everyone, but I think most people on this blog would really enjoy it. A big stipulation is that it takes almost a full season to see all the facets of the show, and the only reason it's so great is because of all of said facets. Basically, you find out it's more on the drama side than it is the comedy side, even though the first 7-8 episodes don't touch on the drama side of things.

Hmm... I really enjoyed Sherlock S3. Anything specific you didn't like? The outrageous love story cons? There wasn't an episode as good as "The Hounds of Baskerville" but I thought it was very good overall.

Very funny. You know what Comedy Central show I really liked that got cancelled too soon? Jon Benjamin has a van. That show was hilarious and uncomfortable and sarcastic and a horrible mess and I loved it.

I just finished Justified S4 the other night, and I'm not sure that the show is actually any good, but I seem to enjoy watching it. Timothy Olyphant's character is great.

Maybe we just differ in what we like about Sherlock, because Hounds is probably my least favorite episode of the first two seasons. The whole season just seemed underwhelming. The first episode basically caught Sherlock and Watson up, with a boring mystery that I figured out (first time I've ever figured out a Sherlock mystery before Sherlock) and so I'm under the assumption that everyone watching it was able to figure out. The second episode was great, one of the best, but even that mystery seemed to have holes in it (pun unintended) because it's really not plausible unlike the mysteries of the first two seasons. And the last episode had a very boring bad guy who came out of nowhere and had one of the most anticlimatic endings, especially for the end of a Sherlock season, which has had very strong season endings. The whole season just felt like a bridge between season 2 and season 4.
