I enjoyed the first two episodes of Silo. I have a few minor complaints about lack of scarcity of some items in their 140+ year old world, but with some suspension of disbelief it’s an interesting show.

Completely agree. Idk if it was poor casting, lazy editing, or both but there was a lot lacking.

agreed that it was very disappointing.

i kept thinking things would pick up but the dudes were all simps.  at least edgar slayed that pelt. lascellus showed some signs that he could have been a great one but ultimately failed us.

The best thing was edgar's girl getting crap on.  She clearly went on to be able to try to upgrade from edgar and make herself look good doing so, and new dude tommy was all "nah, you kinda suck."

Lol at lascelles' girl "changing her answer" at final bonfire after realizing she'd been dumped.

I would irl PI the seattle cornballs but I'm guessing I'll never be at the same corny spots as them.

The freaks from new mexico need to get back and stay together.

Bad casting, but it often will be these days for reality shows where people are looking to use them as a springboard into instagram influencer money.

I think they're building to Ted going back to Kansas and either season 4 or a spin-off will be centered around Roy coaching the team or Nate coming back with Roy as his assistant.

I keep thinking this is the final season of Ted Lasso and it ends with him going back to Kansas for the finale, while homeboy leaves West Ham to go coach Richmond because he realizes he'd rather have good people around him, even if leads to less money and/or success.

I got the vid like 2 weeks ago and binged watched a bunch of shows on my couch including something somewhere. The first couple of episodes were kind of depressing but then it grew on me and I watched all of them. Really only stuck with it because of all the local references.

The whole setup is just a lot of characters where you sit there and say "I know that person"

Finally caught Top Gun: Maverick on the Prime. My pithy review is that it’s pretty much the best possible version of exactly what you’d expect it to be. No real surprises or Oscar worthy performances but it’s damn thrilling.

Also been looking for good horror movies on streaming. Barbarian and Hereditary (HBO) both had some decent twists and turns. The Witch (also HBO) was fine but kinda meh imo. None of the above truly scary.
