we watched an episode of the celebrity dating game after BiP last night and holy smokes is that show weird.  the "game" itself is so artificial it feels dystopian, but then you have Michael Bolton basically doing weird almost surreal humor.  extremely strange.

I watched David Koechner and Nicole Byer's segments.  The celebrity really has to make it fun.  I think Bolton is making his career about surreal humor/parody at this point and it started with his Netflix special.

I thought he did a great job of hosting when he did. Yes, he's a douche bag though, for sure. I find it interesting the article makes it seem like Ken Jennings was some universally beloved option that everyone would have loved. The same people who came for Richards, came for Jennings because of tweets.

I thought Levar Burton was not a good host, but they did do him dirty by only giving him one week during the Olympics.

I have an issue with the combination of Richards and Blossom. I don't think Bialik is at all relatable, I didn't like her as a host either. I also thought Trebek was a jerk, so there's that too.

I would have loved to see Robin Roberts more. I also find it interesting that Richards didn't give auditions to two of the three people Alex publicly wished got a chance to host; Laura Coates and Alex Faust.

I enjoy him on the shows he's on now. Very likable. He is pretty dry tho.

How about those Ted Lasso producers and writers?  Man, those folks are good.  I figured there was no way a second season could deliver, but here I am getting all misty eyed while laughing constantly through each episode.  Such a fun collection of characters.

Started Nine Perfect Strangers last night. Reviews suggest it's a poor man's White Lotus, but I feel like Nine Perfect Strangers is going to be much darker. Cast is really good.

I stretched out I Think You Should Leave over a couple weeks and I laughed out loud so much. Just such a unique way to pace comedy and I love it. And I bet I could rewatch it right now and laugh out loud all over again.
