Nah probably not TBH. phoebe waller-bridge was part of season 1 and not season 2. It's still fine just not great like season 1.

I didn't bother, crazy how good that first season is to get this review. Probably could have adjusted the story slightly and wrapped it up in one season.

Agree.  I appreciate shows that have a tight 1-2 season and a planned ending they're working towards.  Too many get successful and start stretching/meandering.

I thought S1 was pretty good but not great.  I didn't realize it was supposed to be limited initially.  I thought S1 laid a lot of ground work for the characters that could make S2 even better.  I'm on board for almost any noir style crap though.

Yes.  I'm just starting S2.  I'm really enjoying it.  Johnny's character is so good. Also I really like when I hear the music from the original movie.  Not sure why.

I mentioned this in the European soccer thread but I feel like it's my duty to watch a show about a Kansan set in Crystal Palace's stadium

do I need an apple device to get TV+? I don't own an apple device

I watched over half of the episodes last night.  I thought it was fun, and charming.  Sedakis does a great job, though some may not like his western accent in it. A lot of fun characters.

Ted Lasso is a delight...watched the most recent episode last night.  I've been in a pretty good place spiritually, so it has been a joy to watch.  If I were feeling cynical and resentful, I would probably have dismissed it as drivel.  This show is like the Quick Trip parking lot.  If it pisses me off, there is something wrong with my spiritual condition that I need to address.

There are still a couple more to go.  They drop on Friday's.  But, there's enough to sink your teeth into.  If your goal is to binge the whole thing and then cancel, best to wait a few more weeks until they all drop.

Has anyone talked about 'The Boys' on Amazon?  I'm on 3rd episode and enjoying thoroughly.

Finished the first season over the weekend.  You guys should really start watching.  I'm not much of a superhero guy but this puts a fun twist on it.  Super hero's gone rogue.

S2 has come out and still very good.  Anyone who has Amazon should check out.
