Alright, who ya got?

Team A
1 Jacob Pullen
2 Rodney McGruder
3 Jamar Samuels
4 Bill Walker
5 Jordan Henriquez
b Angel Rodriguez
b David Hoskins

Team B
1 Denis Clemente
2 Marcus Foster
3 Cartier Martin
4 Michael Beasley
5 Curtis Kelly
b Dominique Sutton
b Wally Judge

Team A. When in doubt always pick the team with the best player - Jake.

1. Denis
2. Pullen
3. McGruder
4. Cartier
5. Beasley

This is my five too. Not sure why S60 is so convinced that BW is no-brainer on this team over Cartier. Apparently guys who scored 1500 points and shot 40% from 3 for their career are not welcomeon this list  :dunno:

Really?

I mean, I love Jake, but Beasley was unreal in his abilities. Unstoppable really with his combo of size, shooting, skills.

No.

Jamar and Lance were nice players, but neither is really Top 10 in this 10-15ish year era. JMHO.

Denis
Jake
Rod
Cartier
Beasley

Any list that doesn't include Cartier in the starting 5 can GTFO. #TeamCartier

I still can't believe someone thinks Beasley isn't the best player we've ever had. Its not really even close. JMHO.

I absolutely loved the way Hoskins played in 2007 and was absolutely crushed that his knee got hurt and he could not play with Mike and Bill in 2008.  I just don't have the heart to leave him off the team.  I would take a 2007 Hoskins any time, anywhere.  Ever since then whenever I shoot baskets at the rec or anywhere else I pretend that I am Hoskins making game-winners left and right.

Totally agree. We would have been AMAZING in 2008 if Hoskins hadn't gotten hurt.

Mike filled up the stat sheet, but Jake put teams on his back. Down 1 with :20 seconds left... Who would you rather have the ball?

Are we restricted to right now or can we do projections? Because if we are talking about this today, I would say Denis, Jake, Cartier, Walker, and Beasley. However, if we can have Marcus Foster circa 2016 or 2017, I would probably put him at the 2 and bump Jake to the 1.
I think this yoman guy is on to something....

I can tell that I'm alone on the Jake > Mike argument. Just saying that I value a four year career and countless big shots in big games over one one year of filling up the boxscore.

Michael Beasley (26.2 PPG, 12.4 RPG, 53.2 FG%) was the best college basketball player since 2000 in my opinion.  I'd put Durant at 2 (25.8 PPG, 11.1 RPG, 47.3 FG%), and Stephen Curry a somewhat distant 3 (25.3 PPG, 46.6 FG%, 87.5 FT%)...no one else is even close.

So, if you think anyone else who ever played at KSU is anywhere close to Beasley, then I think you are a rough ridin' fool.
