My other concern is that none of my Japanese coworkers will recognize me and I will have to reintroduce myself to the whole office.

I've been in the same dilemma puni. 3-4 times a week I think about getting rid of the whole thing but just this weekend a cute girl was talking to me cause of the beard.

Soft and white. I am keeping it at no guard stubble level so that obscures the whiteness.

One time a buddy shaved a yeard and it was pretty gross (whiteheads, no lesions).

only problem is all my beard balms are now rancid :(
