I'm ready to move on. The problem is every day I decide to shave it, I get a beard nod from a fellow beardizen or two. How can I possibly shave my beard without completely betraying my bearded brothers and sisters who are counting on me?

you can't possibly get that many j-beard nods, can you?

Not many j-beards, no. I did get one yesterday tho. It's possible I'm misinterpreting gaijin nods as beard nods?

My other concern is that none of my Japanese coworkers will recognize me and I will have to reintroduce myself to the whole office.

I've been in the same dilemma puni. 3-4 times a week I think about getting rid of the whole thing but just this weekend a cute girl was talking to me cause of the beard.

Soft and white. I am keeping it at no guard stubble level so that obscures the whiteness.

I always picture a disgusting mess of whiteheads and lesions under those things.

I just came back to post "no offense intended."

One time a buddy shaved a yeard and it was pretty gross (whiteheads, no lesions).

Razor shaving is what fucks you. I'm sure I would have had 800 ingrown hairs if I shaved.
