Guys why does Shane suck lately?  I feel like if he had been regular Shane we win by double digits.

His scoring is down, but he's doing quite a few other things (boarding, assists) well. His foul issues last night didn't help, but that's rare he actual fouls the least of anyone on the team, its just easy to remember when he gets in foul trouble.

Also, the 2 shots he hit to start the 2nd half were huge.

Shane is asked to do a lot defensively, especially against bigger teams. He looked gimpy last night. Still, he made some phenomenal plays last night. The two big buckets early in the 2nd and the drop off to Gip was a thing of beauty.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

This is a great point, he's often asked to guard bigs and against teams like KU that is a tough match-up. He does a really good job considering, plus he is a great passer (well, besides that one) and rebounder.

How was his attitude?

Pretty shitty in the 2nd half. When he allowed a Kane 3 and turned around and walked down the court with no hustle I was pretty pissed. Like I said before, when he isn't playing well and making shots, he doesn't hustle and pouts.

I thought Shane was locked in from the tip.  Was actually on bench watching game and cheering.  Then he finds his stroke.  Very good sign for a march run.  We are going to win the big 12 tourney.

Nino's numbers show why +/- is flawed for college basketball. JMHO.
