Shane Southwell owned it on last turnover: "I had total tunnel vision, I'm not going to lie to you." #kstate #big12mbb
Their is a difference between being AGGRESSIVE and being FOOLISH. Don't care if he got caught up in the action. He had plenty of time to realize.... wooooah, maybe I should back it out (after he pushed it up the court and saw we didn't have numbers)
man you've posted this same thing like 4 times, and you're wrong
No I am not. Shane never had any intention of kicking the ball out to anyone. He even said, he had tunnel vision. As soon as he crossed halfcourt, I could tell he was probably going to try to drive right to the lane and shoot or try to draw a foul.
What the hell does Shane saying he had tunnel vision have to do with whether or not a timeout should have been called? Is the coach supposed to be a mind reader too, get a grip.
Who said anything about a timeout? I never did. I never commented once that oscar should or should not have called a timeout. I said it was stupid and foolish for Shane to drive the ball in there and try to score himself in that situation 1 on 4. I didn't believe for one second that when he was driving in there, that he was gonna kick it out to Nigel. I would have rather had him kick it out to Nigel than taking matters all into his own hands.
Maybe if that was Foster out there instead of Nigel, maybe Shane sees Foster (trusts Foster more) and has it in his mind that I could kick it out to our best shooter/scorer/player. But it was Nigel out there.... and as soon as Shane got a dribble or two past halfcourt, I was like.... oh Sh*t, cause my gut told me he is going to the lane and putting up a floating shot. My gut was a little wrong cause he never got off the floating shot
