Auburn 2014/KSU squad of 2014
« on: November 15, 2013, 08:45:06 AM »
Can we go ahead and start looking forward to this? OMG. I'll call this the catapult game. We'll go from fringe top 25, to mid teens after beating them. They should arrive top 10 right?

Nick Marshall probably wants revenge after we mushed his small face piece.  :ohno:

Do they bring their War Eagle with them? Is he allowed to circle our stadium? The pre-game Willie Skit has so many fantastic options with this. Willie as the Falconer. Except Willie pulls his arm back just as War Eagle tries to land on his arm. Then Willie slicks back his hair and says "psyche" .

But seriously, do they bring their War Eagle with them?

yep, gonna be coming back for this game.  pretty hyped for it.

USC 2002 is pretty much the only noncon game that I can think of in our history that compares in terms of the name and quality of the opponent.

Other than Minnesota's goofy ass coach Kill, is Malzahn the dorkiest looking and least imposing looking Coach? I say no. Dabo takes that honor.

They're returning pretty much everyone next season. Most likely will be in the top ten when they visit Manhattan

Surely they back out of this game right? And in case you didn't notice Pett, we return pretty much everyone as well. Including Bill.

Zimms- Tough loss. Run support specialist. Future stud Newlan will have 2 games to assume new role.
Kip- Meh. We'll fill that role easily.
Finau- Could hurt, jury's out.
Hubert- Tough loss, ball security too.
Lucas- Good, improvement on the way.
Rooks- Same. Replaceable
Chaq-Gonna hurt as well. Run support will be huge to find
TT-Big loss. Little Gordon could make impact as a freshman
Slaughter-Not worried because of either redshirts or derricott

You're concerned that we lose Dorrian Roberts?

i know what you mean but a win would legitimize the team even before conference play starts.

Here's the thing with All-barn, guys...  Nicky Marshall might be the worst passing QB in all of collegiate football  He threw for 18 tds at Garden City, but 20 INTERCEPTIONS... In JUCO football!!   There's a reason why Richt moved him to safety at Georgia.   They run the ball well but are really no threat to pass it now, or in the foreseeable future.

Could be the factor that propels us into the playoff scenario tho. With a win of course.
