Here's the thing:
We're here as fans of college basketball. When folks get excited about a HS recruit it's because of what they could do for their basketball team. In that context saying one player is a better player than someone else solely because of where some jackoff thinks they'll be drafted is silly. It doesn't put basketballs in the bucket and it doesn't put W's in the W column for the respective college programs. Clearly Foster is a better college basketball player than either Wiggins or Embiid. The stats are there to prove that. And that makes me happy because I want the KSU Cats to win and be successful in college basketball. He has clearly exceeded expectations, and I think Embiid has, too. But Wiggins has not. He's not the 2nd coming of Jordan or Lebron. He's a bust in that regard. I'm not happy to say that at all, either. Poor kid never had a chance to live up to the bill and the expectations.
