I think since the WVU game at home, i've just not had that edge of your seat feeling watching any game, thinking that there was a serious chance we could pull it off.

We talk about the better effort this game but it was still very slow... Gip's my guy but he barely made stride at all the whole game. No one gives a crap out there.

It was said earlier with the wooly comparisons that the team doesn't expect to win... they get the lead then fall apart. We've witnessed it a few times in the last few games.

I think thats the toughest thing to watch about this team.

The thing I find most surprising is that we took a step down from Will Spradling. I kind of thought we might miss a step where Shane was missing, but to say that those two guys and Omari off the bench would make that much difference is insane.

How bad our PG play is making me miss Will is definitely a surprise.

I gave up. I haven't watch the last four games and this thread indicates why.

I want oscar gone, and I want it done at the b12 tourney. Don't even let him get back on the plane/bus whatever. Make his ass get a cab and a rental.

7 gms prior to the matchup in Ltown, our D had gotten better..... 44.0 eFG% allowed and 0.96 PPP. The poor defense we saw in non con has came back.

We haven't been good on Off. for most of the year, but that poor performance at home vs WV put us back in a funk (1.04 PPP, decent FTR, and 77% made FTs in 6 gms prior to that).

Those 6-7 games almost seem like fools gold

First 5 game losing streak since 05 Wooly.
First time under .500 in February since 04 Wooly.
Worst eFG% defense since before kenpom (02).
Worst 2pt% defense since before kenpom.

The downward trend isn't just for K-State.

This is also oscar's worst defense (by far) as a major college coach giving up by the worst 2PT% ever and worst eFG% since he was in the Mo Valley. He's had offenses that ranked similarly, but never had a defense ranked higher than #56 in efficiency. This year is #93 and not likely to improve this season. Giving up .98 ppp (adjusted) which is not going to win games in this league.

maybe the illinois team that finally got him fired that famously gave up on the season didn't actually give up.

It's pretty amazing that defense finished as high as it did, because they were bad at the end.

Also shows how consistently bad this year's defense has been.
